    Hi, everyone! You’ll notice I specified the area of VA where I live (for now). The southeastern part of VA is vastly different from northern VA. No DC influence, so a less educated and extremely segregated population here. Its refreshing to be a part of this forum.

    Hello – I live in Va Bch. Really S.E Virginia. I have not met many atheists here. Still has a more conservative, church going community society. But I’m sure we are out there, just quiet.

    Hi Catherine and Lynne!

    I lived in VB (Kempsville area) from May 2010 to July 2013. Before I became an atheist I actually applied for a job at A.R.E. (LOL), went through two interviews and testing for a sales position. VB is ground zero for all sorts of crazy beliefs, that’s for sure!

    Hello from outside Richmond VA. I understand in full. I was young when I went against the wave. My whole town is a church. I can not afford to move. and I try to keep my son from suffering as I did by sharing to much at an early age. It is life damaging. Anyway, I am new to so Hello.
