…so hello from Scotland (and originally—Poland). I’m not going to delve into personal details here as it doesn’t really matter that much. I’ll just say I was born and raised in a Poland, which is predominantly a Catholic country, with all its intricacies, but the home I grew up in has strong Buddhist foundations and that theism- and dogma-free thinking has always been dominant in my life (or at least I hope so, in my naiveté), with all its intricacies. I make mistakes and try to take responsibility for them, not seeking the divine approval, validation or guidance. Sometimes it’s hard and tricky. One of my favorite quotes comes from Timothy Leary:

Throughout human history, as our species has faced the frightening, terrorizing fact that we do not know who we are, or where we are going in this ocean of chaos, it has been the authorities—the political, the religious, the educational authorities—who attempted to comfort us by giving us order, rules, regulations, informing—forming in our minds—their view of reality. To think for yourself you must question authority and learn how to put yourself in a state of vulnerable open-mindedness, chaotic, confused vulnerability to inform yourself.

I am rather weak and tend to come across as arrogant but seem to have flashes of consciousness every now and then and I’m always happy if anyone else may benefit from my ‘discoveries’. So yeah, hello there—I’m hoping for… I’m not quite sure what exactly, but I have a feeling it’s all positive and beneficial. May the force be with you :).
