I recommend the following, and will update this post over time.

Your recommendations are welcome. I hope to eventually categorize recommendations and list them in an easy-to-find format for readers.

    The Lost Debate
Hosts Ravi Gupta and Rikki Schlott
    (often left vs libertarian)

Watch Recommended episode that kinda shows what The Lost Debate is about (and why I like them).

    VIROLOGY
    _________

This Week in Virology (often technically advanced)
Weekly Host: Vincent Racaniello, PhD, Prof of Microbiology & Immunology, College of Physicians and Surgeons, Columbia University, textbook author Principles of Virology. These episodes go all the way back to 2008! They’re not surviving by any clickbait method, but presenting professionally consistent reporting, with deeply explained biological science, and a bit of behind-the-scenes commentary. They JUST want to further the science!

Watch (part of) Recommended episode that kinda shows what This Week in Virology is about (and why I like them). This links to 40 minutes into the video where they talk about a vaccine for an HPV cancer.

A recommended episode #1019 in both audio and video formats, 47 minutes long:
    Eddie Holmes on SARS-COV2 Origins.

Other guests join This Week in Virology in many episodes, most often Kathy Spindler, prof in Dept of Microbiology and Immunology at U of Michigan Medical School; Rich Condit PhD, prof emeritus of Dept of Molecular Genetics and Biology, U of Florida; Brianne Barker, Assoc Prof of Biology at Drew U, focusing on HIV/AIDS immunity; Daniel Griffin, physician with subspecialty in Infectious Disease, Chief of the Division of Infectious Disease at ProHEALTH Care Associates, Assoc Research Scientist at Columbia U  Mailman School of Public Health; Dickson Despommier PhD, prof of Public Health in Environmental Health Sciences and a prof of Microbiology at Columbia U; focuses on parasites and parasitic diseases; Alan Dove, science writer and reporter with PhD in Microbiology.
