I’m curious about the plane politics mentioned in the group heading. Does that refer to geometry – two dimensional politics? That would be more insightful than dealing with linear (left/right) by giving people more choices. I’m all for that.
Or does it refer to to the other kind of plane – maybe the politics of having some people in first class, others in coach, and the effects of people who recline their seat in front of you, so you don’t have room to put your book on the tray table, let alone breathe? When that happens, my political preference is to have ejection seats installed so that when someone pushes the “recline” button, they are immediately ejected from the plane;
