Sunday School 2 years ago@jakelafort – You may remember how tough it was in the Soviet Union and how it caused many Jews to hightail it out of there.Â
I have a friend who was a child refugee and who was forced to leave southern Russia in the late 60’s.

Sunday School 2 years agoApparently (some of?) the Christians hate Jews for killing Jesus. This is so bizarre I didn’t believe it at first.
a) I thought it was the Romans that killed him, which makes the placement of the Vatican in a bit of an awkward position.
b) I thought the killing of Jesus was an essential part of the master plan.
Here in the US, meanwhile, we a…[Read more]

Sunday School 2 years ago@unapologetic – Yes, that is the “Ross” I was referencing. The reaction to Trump was enjoyable.
@TheEncogitationer – There may be hope for the philosophy of Libertarianism to gain greater acceptance, but not with this vehicle.
Yes, I agree.
Also, it would be cool to bring the Ross from Friends along to a Trump convention. You never know what he…[Read more]

Can you even imagine the outrage the American government would express, along with strident accusations of war crimes if the situations were reversed and it was Hamas engaging in mass killing of civilians, leveling most civilian dwellings, attacking and destroying hospitals, torturing prisoners, starving Israeli civilians and withholding potable…[Read more]

The U.S. Finds Itself Further Isolated After ICJ Orders Israel To Halt Rafah Offensive
From the article:
WASHINGTON (AP) — A U.N. court’s order that Israel halt its offensive in the southern Gaza city of Rafah has deepened a disconnect with the United States over a military operation that faces mounting international condemnation but that Ameri…[Read more]

Only our enemies commit war crimes
From the article:
Take the State Department’s long-awaited report on Israel’s compliance with international law in Gaza, which came out late last week. The administration found that Israel had likely used U.S. weapons to commit war crimes but said there wasn’t enough evidence to draw clear conclusions about…[Read more]

The Warning is now in a position to hire opening acts. I expect they will use this capability to offer a hand up to up-and-coming musicians. Holy Wars will be opening for The Warning in coming days. I’m not sure which tour that will ne on just yet. I fully expect that the day will come when Freeze the Fall will open for them as…[Read more]

@ Jake
So, I guess I’m not an antisemite after all. That term’s definition has been so broadened by many that almost any expression of doubt about or distaste for Israeli conduct is being called antisemitic nowadays.

@ Jake
Someone who does not hate Jews is not an antisemite. I don’t hate Jews. The punch line of that syllogism is obvious.
If you are sure I’m an antisemite, say so.
