The miraculous simply means we are powerless to do the same. UAPs defy Newtonian physics, and we are powerless to do the same. Being non-baryonic helps.Your defense of miracles only makes sense if miracles actually happen, and you cite everything we can’t do or explain as evidence of God. And not just any God (…[Read more]

Likewise, just because tbere is theory, like evolution, you can not jump to the conclusions that there is no god as was done in the Victorian age. Moreover evolution may address change within a phylum but not the creation of phylums nor biogenesis nor the efficient engineering of thermodynamic, electrical and…

@michael “Astro-physicists are currently baffled and going back to their chalk board.” We know your conclusion, Michael, even when you don’t state it explicitly. “Therefore, God must exist,” right? We already know that things at the time of the Big Bang were not “normal” in the sense of comporting with the physics that became normal…

More accurately, scientific discoveries can be presented agnotologically. This typically results in incorrect interpretation of the data, for the express purpose of misrepresenting it. The purpose of misrepresenting the data, is typically driven by no credible data being available to use instead. So, finding that stars formed in better…

In any case, there is no absence of chaos, is there? Or can you prove absence of chaos?
Chaos is suppose to be there, is the point, but there’s not. So who or what is doing the restoration?
There you go again, asserting there’s no chaos. Show us, then, that there is no chaos.
The authors ass…[Read more]

ChatGPT gave me a great explanation of planetary orbital dynamics, including interactions, but got wishy-washy on what scientific consensus is on how well Lyapunov time calculations can explain very long time frames, or the future of planetary orbits. In the article you cited, I also didn’t see any strong support for, or s…

Michael17, Couldn’t a body from outside the Solar System of sufficient size and gravitational pull come in and mess with the orbits of any of the Planets or Dwarf Planets, whether Inner Solar System or Outer Solar System? Yeah, I know I’m throwing in a hypothetical, but is it any less possible than the notion of “fi…

What exactly do you mean by the lack of chaos among the inner planets (Mercury through Mars, I assume)? Are you referring to chaos as defined in chaos theory where relatively small fluctuations can result in major consequences? Mercury’s orbit is often described as chaotic in a different sense of the word.
The calculated Lyapunov t…[Read more]

michael17, is it evident to you how your world view colors your lens accordingly? Not that objectivity is possible for humans and yet any form of ideology/orthodoxy renders a flawed human an absolute trash receptacle. I don’t mean that in a bad way…it is just that
Theories or ideologies can be flawed, but evidence is what it is.…[Read more]

Is the absence of chaos among the inner planets, evidence of the posited fine tuning of the universe (antropic principle)?

Michael17, Science is about postulates and theories based, respectively, on contingent interpretations of observations, and on the latest and most verifiable evidence. This is also how the science of medicine works; In the long run, in spite of previous beliefs and incorrectly purported proofs, demonstrably successful treatments…

Nice video on how confounded Big Bangers are. And a High-Five to Creationist. (Not the 6000 years ago universal creationist). As there is evidence that a civiliation existed on earth 350 million years ago. I believe that more evidence will be unearthed in our lifetimes. Already unanomalous structures are detected in Anarctica on Google Earth.…[Read more]

From michael17: You read the mainstream explanations. Which one has your vote? I don’t know. Mine is not to explain matters lacking sufficient evidence or expertise to describe.
