It’s porn but it’s useful for making my point. No, it’s not child porn. No children, not even any real adults. That’s the point. The imagery is totally AI-generated. The depiction is of a couple Marilyn Monroe-ish women engaging in sexual activities. I think you’ll be stunned at how realistic it is. In fact, if there’s any clue that it’s AI, it’s that the depictions are perhaps too perfect. No actual woman is that flawless, though it may actually enhance the imagery’s enjoyability for the intended purpose. As you watch , bear in mind that, as stunning as this is, as time goes by AI imagery can only improve.
How does this relate to child pornography?
The legal rationale for prosecuting people the production, possession, or transmission of child porn is that it is the actual depiction of a criminal abuse of a child.
So, the justification for prosecuting child porn (CP) evaporates completely when the depiction is AI-generated. I can anticipate that very soon, the PTB will rush in to move the goal post by saying “Okay. There may be no victim in the depictions, but it encourages the abuse of children.”
That said, could such images be used to reduce the sexual abuse of children by providing pedophiles with masturbation material that is actually no more abusive than animation like Spongebob Squarepants?
There is no known way to change anyone’s sexual orientation whether their orientation is straight, gay/lesbian, or pedophilic, so might AI-generated CP actually function as an escape valve used to reduce the sexual abuse of children?
If you object to lumping pedophilia together with straight and gay orientations, remember that until just a few decades ago, being a practicing gay or lesbian was illegal. Legal status can change.
