I knew an atheist who readily criticized Christianity and Islam, but in decades he only had one thing to say related to the Judaism of his birth: that he supported Israel. It was a one time remark he made. Also, I’ve hung out with many a freethinker and atheist but rarely if ever have I heard criticism of one of the big 3 Abrahamic faiths.
Are we giving Judaism a free ride?
Will we meet ad hominem criticism for criticizing Zionism, and aspects of Judaism? Are there “victimhood narcissists” as Israeli Sam Vankin speaks of, ready to tear us a new one for speaking ill of things related to Judaism?
And, are younger atheists less fearful of going there than Baby Boomer atheists?
