    NADRA, Pakistan doesnt allow you to change your religion unless you are change it into Islam. Also Athreism is not recognized by Pakistan. Islam has death penalty for apostacy. People cannot have Atheism in religion field here. This is really wrong. Everyone thinks that I am from Pakistan so everyone see me as religious extremist or terrorist online.

    How sure are you? Is this official policy? I remember there is an option No religion for passport. I think it should be also available for CNIC.

    I have plans to select No Religion when i renew passport.

    Check this PDF file from NADRA website. Check D (c) where you can see it clearly says in remarks column that change of religion from ISLAM to any other religion will not be entertained.
