Firstly, see the source (containing valid citations): academia source
Secondly, consider that:
(1) I am an atheist.
(2) Beyond atheism, I lack belief in all things, and so I had come to invent a paradigm called ‘non-beliefism’: http://nonbeliefism.com/
(3) Supporting citations and scientific notation may be found in the aforesaid source.
(4) Given the scientific evidence in (3), one may clearly observe that it is possible that the prior scientific redefinition of God (or any scientific redefinition) is compatible with atheism.
Intriguing Footnote:Sam Harris (an atheist): “..we are in the process of building some sort of god.”
Apart from myself, atheists (like Sam Harris) are observed to express something like the existence of God, in a scientific context.
See minute 14:11 of this youtube video, featuring Sam Harris himself expressing the prior quote: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8nt3edWLgIgAugust 21, 2017 at 11:36 pm #4241Isaac Asimov once wrote a short story on this. He had a scene where a super super computer had built a super super super one, until they had a huge (of course, size mattered in those days) computer with a huge ‘On’ switch and television cameras everywhere poised to record the first human GiantComputer interaction. They switched it on. Lights blinked everywhere. They asked their big question…. “Is there a god?” To which the Computer boomed out
…(Imagine a drumroll)…
“YES! NOW THERE IS!” And as realization dawned, they rushed to switch off the Computer, but a lightning bolt flew in from nowhere and fused the switch in the On position.
You should read some Asimov if you haven’t. He was a scientist but as a sideline he wrote science fiction.

I don’t detect any empirically observed relation between Asimov’s fiction above, and the empirical data I had provided in the source, but I had observed Asimov’s work above in the past.
