The Trump presidency is doing two things particularly well. 1. His horrific behaviour is motivating the young to understand and engage with politics even if just to resist. They are far more likely to vote going forward. 2.. He is putting the checks and balances in the structure of the American system to test – paving the way for potential future reform and improvement.

Good point! Obama put us to sleep. We all trusted that handsome, articulate man. He was able to blind us to the ugly truths.
The spite of Trump brings all of the shady Obama shit to light and the people finally recognize the problem is not Left vs Right but Rich vs Not Rich.
