    I’m genuinely curious what people think about getting married for convenience reasons. Most specifically for the purposes of immigration and citizenship eligibilities.

    I guess I should specify that I already married a man from MX after knowing him for 4 years. We both were in love or so I thought….He got his green card and the the abuse got really bad. So I left.

    Now I’m pretty desperate to get out of the US. I feel like I would literally do anything to escape. I don’t feel good here at all and it’s getting worse…

    There is a man who is willing to marrry me from Burkina Faso West Africa. Most people say it’s a scam but I don’t care. I am THAT desperate to get the fuck out of here….

    So many things led up to me feeling this way. I don’t love him. But he wants into the US and I want OUT. Just wondering…..How crazy is that really?

    I wouldn’t be against it, but I wouldn’t marry a stranger, especially if I still had any kids.

    Some men looking to “buy” would also expect to
    “own”.

    Is it any different than any of the reasons people immigrate to another country?

    For example: My great grandparents immigrated for a  so-called “better life.” Isn’t that always why we move from one place to another?

    The current immigration system is pretty fucked up.

    Or I may just move to Ecuador or Uruguay. Their immigration options are much easier and I already speak the language.

    If I get papers to become a citizen of west Africa can they be used for anywhere in Africa? I mean say South Africa? Seriously. I was thinking Cape Town or Nairobi
