    Just over half of Canadian respondents say they believe religion does more harm than good in the world, according to a new survey.

    The Ipsos poll, conducted for Global News, showed that 51 per cent of respondents agreed with the above statement.

    In a British survey conducted in 2010: 73% of people believed that ‘people with very strong religious beliefs are often too intolerant of others’. (82% of people who described themselves as non-religious and 63% of those who described themselves as religious held this view.)
