While a sable or pine marten is technically a member of the weasel family, they are almost unbearably cute. They climb far better than cats and if cats sometimes act crazy, sables take that level of crazy and multiply it times ten. They don’t need to be domesticated, adapting quite easily to living with humans, and they are up for fun all day long.
With their gorgeous fur (some of the most expensive fur coats are sable) and black shoe button eyes, they almost seem like an animated plush toy. To say they are quick is an understatement and as, basically, a weasel, their energy level is through the roof.
Like cats, getting into mischief is a second nature to them.
Agility compared to any other kind of pet is 11 on a scale of 1-5.
