Why Ireland's Blasphemy Law Should Be Repealed

Hi everyone,

I just thought I’d share my thoughts on why the blasphemy law in Ireland should be repealed. In short as a person who supports freedom of speech I cannot in good conscious support any sort of law which punishes others for stating their opinions on organised religion. Too often is religion and spirituality giving the get out of jail free card in regards to being questioned.

So the video I’m sharing in this post was recorded when Stephen Fry was being investigated by our law enforcement here in Ireland due to his comments on RTÉ’s ‘The Meaning of Life’.  So what are your thoughts on this?
