The first violent text from The Bagavad Gita that comes to mind was quoted by Dr. J. Robert Oppenheimer when he beheld the first Atomic Bomb explosion of The Manhattan Project which he headed:

“I am become Death, the Destroyer of Worlds.”

He also said a line from The Baghavad Gita that comes off violent when one considers what the subsequent H-Bomb is and how it mimics the Sun’s fusion process:

“If the radiance of a thousand suns were to burst at once into the sky, that would be like the splendor of the mighty one …”
