I have a question and it is something i have never looked into although it has come across to me as a superficial knee-jerk criticism of an assertion when there is no good counter argument. Maybe i am missing something. Perhaps i can find help with this issue here.

Binary! That is the word i often hear/read as a knock or criticism of an argument. Is binary as a response in some way valid? If so i would love to see a concrete example.
