If this is true it helps to explain how mindless and easily acted upon the masses are. Mindless followers, followers, ideologues, cultists, brain dead followers. I was unaware that in general people don’t like to think. An unexamined life is not worth living? One in which you digest and regurgitate the nonsense that is expected of you and never have a thought of your own fits that category too.
