@tomsarbeck Tom, “theory of mind” never sounded right to me, either, maybe because it sounds too science-jargony. Ever since I read about mirror neurons in chimps and watched an Empathic Civilzation video, it made more sense to me to focus on empathy as an animal basis of feeling each other’s moods & thoughts, whether between chimps or even between species like humans and their pets, or (e.g) predators and their prey.

Human language and other contagious forms of human culture and civilization just boosted our empathic abilities an order of magnitude above nature’s original primate design.
