    Any works by Florence Scovel Shinn?

    I prefer Steve Taylor for that kind of thing, his books about post-traumatic growth, anyway: “Out of the Darkness” and “The Leap”.  He’s a psychology professor, so he understands the mechanics of the ego etc.

    Never heard of her. Besides, as Davis will say, Unseen doesn’t read books.
