Why are the GOP’s policies so mean? Do they really want a lot of Americans to die?

Someone said that Trump is like Roadrunner – no matter how many anvils or sticks of dynamite you throw at him, he always escapes triumphant.  So, I doubt if anything’s going to stop him except the cold grave.

Morally speaking, the MAGA Republicans, headed by Trump, are:

• morally disengaged – they just don’t care that much about right and wrong, accountability, honesty, etc.;
• ethically dark – they achieve their goals at the expense of others, in some way or other, because they are competitive/dominant instead of cooperative.

So, it just isn’t surprising if Trump’s policies hurt a whole bunch of innocent people.  It’s to be expected.  Either they’re selfish, or vindictive, or both (the policies).

And yet, Simon, they proclaim their Christianity, ignoring the parable of The Good Samaritan, the miracle of the loaves and fishes, and the whole “Let he who is without sin cast (blah, blah, blah” thing.
