Besides this chestnut, here is the predictable one: “Here lies an Atheist.  All dressed up with nowhere to go.”😊

But there was also another one that would be out of place with our age where every behavior is assumed to be a disease or otherwise out of our control.  it was a Czech gravestone that simply said: “He ate what he wanted.”

My favourite is  Spike Millikan’s head stone :”‘ I TOLD YOU I WAS SICK”–It’s in Gaelic because the English was considered too irreverent.
