Reg the Fronkey FarmerModeratorWhy is there so much garlic in here?

PopeBeanieModeratorWell, that was weird.

jimberoniParticipantNo gravestone or grave for me. I’m going to be cremated. Why waste the land for a pickled carcass in a concrete case? If anyone wants to bother, a park bench with a little plaque somewhere would be nice.

UnseenParticipantActually, why go for cremation. I just want to be buried in a hole so that living creatures can feast on me. That’s REALLY giving back to nature!

jakelafortParticipantUnseen, if you can transfer your consciousness onto a disc or into a Frankenstein or Adonis for that matter will you do it?

I think that is about as likely as reincarnation. But were it available, a lot would depend on how affordable it would be and knowing what my consciousness would be put into. Would I look like Brad Pitt and be hung like a horse? LOL

UnseenParticipantI just thought of a good one: I was dead before I knew it.

BandenParticipantNever wanted a gravestone. Didn’t want to be buried. Before he died, my evangelical dad told me that after he died, I would come to his grave and that his gravesite would be a place of regret. (Yeah, he seriously told me this and no I have never visited his gravesite)
Ever since, I’ve never wanted to be buried. Just dispose of my body and be done with me. Rather, I hope that if my children live well, that they will be my monument. That said, I have sometimes thought it would be nice to endow a nice park bench (with my name on it) at a pretty park, someplace where people can get a rest.
