Some of you probably noticed an article or snippet about study or studies that indicate pupil size is correlated with fluid intelligence among other things. Small pupils equals dopey. Big pupils equals Autumn. Here is a quote from authors of study.“…we have shown that large differences in baseline pupil size, even observable to the unaided eye, exist between high and low cognitive ability individuals engaged in a cognitively demanding task and cannot be explained by differences in mental effort.” I have noticed how people with bipolar disorder get enormous pupils when they are in a manic phase. And i’ve read about and heard from such people that creativity during manic phase is greatly enhanced.
