Cool idea. Might help if there were some kind of decision tree or wiki already in place to use for reference. The AI could learn over time what works best.

Or imagine there are Evangelist bots out there on chat groups converting the “not really christians” into nut jobs. Would I be slightly crazy or believing that they just might be out there?

Not crazy at all. Even if a bot didnt convert anyone it might be used by evangelists to identify potential converts.

I sort of like the idea that it could be used to disseminate information. As we all know the mere provision of the agreed facts of a religion is often persuasive in revealing the lies behind the dogma.

Seems Russia’s already working on it, e.g. against democracies, no? (Pro-Christian parties in power, I mean.)
