I loved X Files and the 4400 but regarded them as science fiction.  I wonder if there is a social atmosphere or political environment that contributes to UFOism. Weren’t UFOs big in the McCarthism era?  Are we in a similar time in some ways now?  Maybe we are in for another era of UFO sightings and abductions.   That could be fun to watch.

If by discoveries you mean bullshit that so many people are all too willing to believe…then I’d say yes…most non-critical-thinking and non-skeptical people are extremely likely to accept this “mind-blowing facts you’ll never believe are totally scientificamal and true-like”.

I don’ think most people here will waste their time. Aliens with enough technical know how to travel faster than the speed of light stop by Earth, almost exclusively in rural sites in the USA, dont cloak their ships, dont reveal themselves, don’t say hello to the world or land anywhere, then take off without any more communication…is so ridiculous its as preposterous as a bearded man the sky.

What evidence is there that this supposedly “leaked” report even exists, Michael? Surely you’re not counting Fox News as any sort of repository of truthful journalism? You might as well be citing The National Enquirer.
