Who woulda thought that this world renowned physicist would drop a political video?

PLEASE NOTE: Many of the problems she identifies plague the United States as well.

I saw this when I was on YouTube yesterday, and recognized I had no clue about the German economy. (That’s what I should be embarrassed about.)

On a seemingly different topic, I have to say that I’ve left Google Search as my primary search engine, because it has become so bad, prioritizing extra clicks over linking to the most relevant information. I’ve been using Kagi, starting with 100 free searches, then I subscribed for $5/month. It has saved me much time and frustration. I forgot who backs them, only remembering it’s a significant person or persons in the tech industry.

So here’s a suggested link to follow on the topic of the German Economy, given to me by Kagi’s share feature:
    https://kagi.com/search?q=dw+news+german+economy&r=us&sh=cGBOsVG79aI4fk7QONJX2A

DW might not be the most independent source for news. I’ve noticed that their economy hasn’t shown up as a top story, at least not in any of the suggested topics presented to me by Google’s YouTube. (The cesspool of choices in YouTube searches is yet another, strong disappointment. They intentionally steer me to unrelated material, after about a dozen or so relevant choices.)

Anyway, German Economy… IMO is a hugely relevant topic, especially regarding what it can or can’t do wrt Putin vs Ukraine, and the future of rightist politics. (YMMV) I think you can remove “dw” from the search if you want broader results.
