Ya know from what i gather the Iranians are the least Jew hating in all of North Africa and Middle East. And that in spite of the quotidian indoctrination in hatred.

Under the Shah, Iran had friendly relations with Israel. Cyrus, the name of the ancient Persian Emperor, is also a popular name among Jews. The precedent for peace is there.

Sure hope Trump aint gonna sell the Iranians down the river. My fear is he is making assurances and promises to use as leverage in negotiations. Now or never. Get this shit done.

I am hoping he and Net. are doing another end around fooled ya and ya don’t like it.

I am sure he could not care less how much blood is on his hands but he damn sure cares about reputation and legacy. If he is a big part of taking down this Islamic regime it changes history and where his feckless forbears missed the opportunity he can seize it.

I wouldn’t give Trump that much credit in his second go-around. He’s gone from playing 4-D chess to playing mumblety-peg with tactical missiles.

i am seeing so many posts condemning the lefty/propalestine regarding Iran. And it is true. It’s Captain Obvious. Equally Captain is the overall impact the lefty scum have on human rights. Shit is fucking horiffic in so many places all over the world. And nobody fucking cares who is not directly impacted. We sure aint gonna get any concern from the right. And since the lefties have turned humanism into a fucking disgusting little cult they have done great damage to the cause of humanity and its welfare. It is not bad enough that the faux bleeding heart is directed at one group and against another. The lefty’s are the ones who are doing their get all to preserve Islam.

If Iranian regime falls there will be so many liberated Iranians to really cause the USEFUL IDIOT moniker to resonate. Islam imposes all of the shit that is inimical to human rights. Gender apartheid. Apartheid where minorities are crushed. Freedom taken by the throat and throttled. Etc.

i may have penned the following.

“The impact of the fall of the Iranian regime will be far bigger than most people realise. It will be a genuine “cut the head off the snake” moment.
Because once the Ayatollahs fall, the entire political ecosystem they’ve been propping up starts to collapse with them. It will instantly strip away, and I cannot believe I’m even saying this, a huge amount of the fake “legitimacy” groups like Hamas have managed to gain over the last few years. It will drag into the light all the ties, funding routes, training links, and ideological coordination that the IRGC has had with terrorist organisations across the region.
And yes, it will absolutely delegitimise the modern “pro-Palestine” movement as it currently exists in the West, because so much of it isn’t actually about Palestinians at all. It’s about Islamist propaganda, anti-Israel narratives, and the constant repackaging of extremism as “social justice”. The fall of the regime would rip the mask off that entire performance.
But perhaps the biggest slap in the face of all will be that it will expose the one subject liberal leftist activists fear the most, because it destroys their whole worldview.
It will prove, in the clearest possible way, that the biggest struggle the Iranian people have faced was not “Western imperialism”, not “Zionism”, and not some abstract geopolitical grievance.
It was life under Islamist oppression….
And once millions of Iranians are free to say that openly, without fear of prison, torture, or execution, the activist class won’t be able to spin it anymore. They won’t be able to pretend that political Islam is “resistance”. They won’t be able to sell the lie that terrorists are the oppressed heroes of history.

Unfortunately, last I heard last night, Trump is backing down on his “help is on the way” for Iran’s protesters, no doubt on the prompting of his Saudi and Qatari donors.

Also, the number of dead, whether formally executed or not, is as high as 20,000, and the numbers came out even before Trump announced he would help. Also, Supreme Leader Khameini made an assassination threat against Trump and said contrary to previous attempts, he wouldn’t miss.

Oh, and lest we forget, Trump restrained the Israelis from taking out keep members of the regime and the IRGC during the 12-Day War, So any “help” Trump could give would be a futile attempt at cleaning a mess of his own making.

It looks like the Iranian people are going to have to depose their Ayatollahs and Mullahs alone again. Previous attempts didn’t work out well. They sure can’t rely on Naked Emperor Nobel Non-Participation Trophy Trump.

I saw that about the chemical weapons. Not confirmed yet by Western intel but very credible given the history of chemical weapons use by adjacent forces in the Iran-Iraq War and in the Syrian Civil War.
