I would like to point out that in the first graph of “What does it mean to be ‘Religious‘?” The 2008 graph shows 24 – 36% church attendance. And the 2023 graph shows 17 – 30% church attendance. 6% drop in all groups.

Blasphemy: Wasn’t there a UN proclamation condemning blasphemy? Did the US sign that?

Texas is the battleground for religion in schools because  Texas is the biggest buyer of textbooks. Texas approved textbooks are sometimes the only textbooks available. “the materials are based on extensive cognitive science research and will help improve students’ reading and math scores.” While dumbing down actual science.

If I flew an ‘appeal to heaven’ flag upside-down, what message would that send? (I have a history making my own slogans/symbols, and being misunderstood.)

The SKY article on WTF had a paywall that said, in part “… Where you are a Sky customer, we may personalize adverts and content by using Sky account and product information which we hold about you.” In my first reading of this, I thought it said ‘which we hold against you.’ 😉

“Children Trust Robots Over Humans” Yeah. Grown-ups and my own parents frequently lied to me ‘for your own good’. And robots are less judgmental.
