I cannot figure out how some voters are still undecided. How is the difference in choice not obvious to them? They are waiting upon the finer details of certain policies or something?
Gee….I know one is a conspiracy riddled bats in his head liar and the other is an educated person with a calm and logical mind but first I would like to ask both…[Read more]

The illegals are eating our cat and dogs. That little diatribe was priceless.

In the end, we can always commit suicide.
Whenever someone in a group setting asks about the purpose of life I always consider suggesting that we should all go outside now and commit suicide. Depending on the maturity of the company of course. When I get told “that is a horrible thing to suggest”, I ask, OK, tell me why we should not?

I doubt today’s analytical philosophers are so rigid as if they walk around thinking like Spock or something.
Maybe they would confuse Spock by asking him what he means exactly by the term “live long” and if he could outline his definition of “prosper” in terms of the cultural differences between them and the Klingons?
Captain, its the Engines h…[Read more]

All that, and one has to make a binary choice in November.
I still fear that Trump can win. If Harris can keep the honeymoon going and also let the voters hear more of her actual policies, without the rhetoric, then I think she will have a much better chance. If Trump can’t keep himself in check during the debate and Harris displays a diplomat…[Read more]

Have a great week everyone!!
Christians think nothing of condemning nonbelievers to eternal suffering, but will forgive the most atrocious crimes committed by themselves.

Since there’s no way to get rid of groups, since only groups can cooperate (internally) – there’s no way, in this competitive world, to get rid of in-group bias and out-group antipathy. The only thing we can do is be aware of it and how it works, and then maybe it can be overcome to some extent.
A group that evolve dynamically and for the benefi…[Read more]

This is a fault in human nature – our in-group bias.
I agree but I think there is a bigger picture to look at here. In-group bias evolved as a survival mechanism. Favoring those within one’s own group lead to more cohesive and cooperative units, enhancing group survival against external threats. It allowed us to protect our territory and r…[Read more]

I know a male dentist in Ireland who saw a patient from Saudi for a wisdom tooth extraction. After the procedure the patient left his sister in the waiting room and said he would be back in 30 minutes as he wanted to get his prescription from the pharmacy. He only left her “alone” as the other 2 patients and the receptionists were female. It tra…[Read more]

I’m not sure there’s anything in Islam encouraging nice manners, unless nice manners include burying women vertically in the sands of an arena with only their heads above ground, and stoning them to death for imagined apostasy – often accused by their husbands so he can get rid of them and snag a new wife.
Do yourself a favour and read ‘A Thous…[Read more]

Apparently they don’t like apostates and atheists…
That means they don’t like 75% of the worlds population. That includes me so they can sit on this and swivel.
It’s just not healthy to place that much value in something, so that it is above all else that really matters.
That is very true, especially when what they value most is ima…[Read more]
