UnseenParticipantTrying to read light gray type on a white background really is causing me eyestrain. I may have to give up on participating if you can’t improve the contrast between text and background. If you could make it a little larger that might help too.

PopeBeanieModeratorI’m okay with the gray, but also prefer black for more contrast, as will many people without super eyesight.
@Unseen, I just use Ctrl-Scrollwheel to adjust font size in Windows.July 12, 2015 at 4:40 am #433
UnseenParticipantI know how to adjust type size manually. It just seems that the default size seems awfully small. And the light gray on white background certainly does not maximize readability. I’ve done plenty of graphic design and if one wants people to be able to read you provide text to background level of contrast that helps them do that. I would assume that this software gives the user (Umar) some control over appearance.

ParticipantI support Unseen’s request. It seems like a very easy fix. Let’s do it.

Participant@Unseen. I’m sure you have thought of this, but if you copy/paste in a word document and then change to the font you want, reply in that document and then copy/paste back to the site….just a thought for a workaround until it get fixed….

SteveInCOParticipantThe size of the text (once displayed) is actually larger for me than on T|A, for some reason. [Edit. I take that back. They are almost identically sized.] But the gray sucks.
The preview you see while typing is quite good–it’s black, oddly enough. Though it’s a bit smaller, and I could imagine people having trouble with it.
[edit add] The text while typing is smaller, and a courier font. More than once I’ve gone off to look at another tab, come back here and tried to put my cursor in the preview instead of the typing area. Eventually I’ll learn my lesson.

ParticipantAnother suggestion….If you drag your mouse over the words you’re reading to highlight them it does illuminate them better….just a good temporary solution until the font gets changed to black. I DO think changing the font to black would be a good idea…hint hint….

Simon PayntonParticipantDon’t say illuminate wooooooo

Mike LongParticipantSeconded Better yet, can the user specify font, etc.

RebelKeymasterI have made the font darker. Please give your feedback.
