    Simon, Trump utterly unprincipled and machiavellian?

    For suah. Abortion? Does not care. Well maybe he has some core principles. IDK. Oh well Soy numero uno. That is one of em.

    Highjacking mind i mean to say imposing an ideology and one that is contrary to all natural inclinations. And that is when their brains are unformed. Hell the prefrontal cortex is not fully formed until sometime around age 25. So any religion/cult that gets overwhelming support and has mothers happy to sacrifice their kids to martyrdom is a fully highjacked mind. It is a mind that is nearly defenseless because her family and entire culture is utterly immersed in the death cult.

    On the other hand Trump’s followers are largely drawn to him for what they think he represents including their soft racism/bigotry, distrust of institutions and big government, objection to progressive constructs, and fear of a new social order in which they are less important. In other words their just adopting an ideology that suits their fully formed beliefs. Their shit aint highjacked.

    But i definitely like the analogy to religion. Ideology is very similar. And secular religions abound and redound to the detriment of us all.

    Gonna be interesting if Trump is elected whether he becomes the vicious dictator and destroyer of American democracy (such as it is) that the democrats have been portraying.

    You seem blithely unaware of Project 2025:

    Blivett is six pounds of shit in a 5 lbs bag.

    How advantageous for the democrats to run against that platform. Imagine debating Trump how easy it would be to either alienate him from his base after he disavows it or alienating him from majority of voters after he affirms. And it is a journalist’s dereliction of duty not to question him directly as to his stance and how he intends to implement if affirmed. And if Americans are brain dead to that degree that they are in favor it well then they deserve what they will get.

    I think the lack of transparency speaks VOLUMES: https://www.cnn.com/2024/07/18/health/dr-sanjay-gupta-analysis-trump/index.html

    What is there to tell?  The bullet went through the top of his ear.

    @simon

    What is there to tell?  The bullet went through the top of his ear.

    Did you even read the article?

    I don’t know but to me it looked totally staged. It hit the ear away from the audience (and camera) view as well so no one really saw it hit him. Just as he’s saying “hey everyone look at the chart over here….(and then he gets to tell everybody how much that never happens to him how he never looks to his right like that so it must’ve been an act of God).

    Really?

    I really call bullshit on the whole thing, sorry 😂 I seriously don’t believe a word out of his mouth. And I agree with unseen I think it’s just way too much of a fucking coincidence and such perfect timing that it could not have been authentic. And the way Trump rolls is every single thing that happens Trump has controlled or had some hand in. I think it was 100% planned by him orchestrated by him and I think we won’t get confirmation of that for a long time but… I don’t think this was a real assassination attempt. I think it was 100% staged. I think Trump did it for votes. Unfortunately. It’s working. Do you think it’s a coincidence that right after that one of his criminal cases got completely dismissed by the judge? Come on people really? Are we all seriously that gullible! 😂

    Trump is a remarkable person.  Therefore, remarkable things happen to him.  To me, it looked and smelled 100% real.

    Fox news started polarizing every issue it could. And Rump took advantage of the tactic.
