I have right-wing “gun nut” acquaintances who dream of using their weapons to help wrest the country from the grip of the leftist “commies.”
I do think the next election will result in a kind of civil war, especially if Biden wins.* I do not see it being won ior lost n gun battles, even if there are gun battles. I see it being won or lost by men in business suits along the lines of what the Trump administration attempted to do last time. I’m not referring to the mob at the Capitol Building. That was a sideshow. I’m talking about the alternative elector schemes. It just might work given a sympathetic SCOTUS with a majority that clearly believes that the United States has been set on a bad course.
There’s another way it might happen. I call it “The Banana Republic Civil War.” This is where a military faction fed up with the “New Woke Military” takes over the government by force and sets up a new government, the election be damned.

It is difficult for me to come to terms with how many cognitively challenged people there are walking around. A three or four-word slogan is the limit of what they comprehend. Take my 290lb former neighbor. Biggest fear was queers, immigrants and red ants. Not the high blood pressure or the imminent heart attack that killed him.

I was 16 and had volunteered to clean 5000 compact fridges during the summer. One day Fred stops by while i am working. He was in an old pick-up truck. Trump, who claims on the one hand that he has “no idea” what Project 2025 is all about or who is behind it is actually lying (and not just because his lips are moving). It was actually largely written by members of his administration. Listen to this dark threat/prediction by the head of the Heritage Foundation, predicting that either it will be implemented or there will be blood.
