She suffered from long covid sooo badly, for sooo long, I couldn’t believe she’d be so great again. Here she is, from bed, but excited, cogent, and a source of scientific knowledge and enthusiasm again! (I was tearing up.)

Seriously, that was a ton of new learning in 8 minutes. They never taught in public school that light has different speeds going through different media. Not to mention that public schools teach little about subatomic particles other than electrons, protons, and neutrons.

Long COVID doesn’t stop her from teaching new fascinating things with enthusiasm!

I hope she’s not actually experiencing a tap on the shoulder from a departed Uncle. That would be a creepy experience! 😱

I’m so glad she has recovered enough to post again. She was one of my favorites back when she was posting regularly.

It looks like the disease took its toll. One hopes she will bloom back into a full recovery in coming months.
