I appreciate when articles clarify when proposed legislation has a strong degree of support or if it’s just fringe nonsense. Even in the latter case, it could still hypothetically pass, but I would hope this is the sort of thing that gets shut down fairly quick—the sort of bill legislators propose not to have it passed, but so they can go back to their base with a big ol’ shrug and say, “At least I tried.”

On the bright side, the law doesn’t prohibit use of mRNA vaccines on reptiles or or avians in Idaho. That would have really wrecked my summer plans.

    Reg and Fellow Unbelievers,

Sorry I’ve been away. Working in retail during the tax refund season has really wore me out at the end of each day.

Also, during the little free time I have, I’ve been floating on a contact high with binge-watching of Penn & Teller: Bullshit and Mythbusters and my purchase of Steven Pinker’s Enlightenment Now. All of them are fantastic works of rationality, critical thinking, and hope for the future!

I’ll try to get back in the swing of things shortly.
