Hi Michael Just to be clear, are all these prophecies leading us to ‘Armageddon’ or are they just random predictions about life in general, like a mystical horoscope?
The predictions are dire but have been increasing in intensity over 2000 years. But to be short Putin is not bringing in Armageddon, until that time there will be wars and rumors of war, pestilence famines and earthquakes increasing in intensity
September 28, 2022 at 2:34 am #44743Michael, not much of an answer to Beanie’s thoughtful questions.
Thank you Jake. While Michael responded partly with “I have historical proved the Revelation to my satisfaction. However it is still a leap of faith since we cannot scientifically prove that there is a God.”
Even if a leap of faith is not how I arrive at conclusions, Michael is honest about not requiring scientific evidence to support his conclusion(s). So for me, the only topic left to discuss that might allow he and I to trade enlightenment would be the topic of validity or lack of validity of faith in a scientific context, the only context that matters to me. I don’t see any benefit in pursuing this any further, but maybe someday… and it’s not directly addressing Michael’s original question anyway.

Even healing the sick, cleansing the leper and raising the dead does not constitute proof. It would be relegated to phenomena scientifically unexplainable.
September 28, 2022 at 3:08 pm #44747As usual he’s got nothing.
Yeah Jake, 100 generations (starting with no 1) have been kicking the “christian armageddon can” down the road, each believing theirs was the last one, LOL. Each one has their horns and dragons. If your outlook on life is so pathetic that hoping for “the end” makes you feel better; then I would imagine connecting dots that don’t exit is a great hobby. And as Hitch says, these people do not deserve respect…
“People like that should be out in the street, shouting and hollering with a cardboard sign and selling pencils from a cup.” ― Christopher Hitchens.
September 28, 2022 at 4:30 pm #44748Robert, on one level i agree with Hitch. On another it is the power of indoctrination and a good brain that is simply overtaken by indoctrination or mental illness. I am of the opinion that if you met Michael and he did not betray his religious obsession you would come away with the impression he is a sharp cat.

And to top it all off, he still didn’t answer my questions of how is Kirill blaspheming Christianity’s morally inverted doctrines and how can Christ be a God if there are people he can’t persuade.
Jake, Autumn. and Davis all need to recalibrate their Turing Tests. If they are looking for a Bot, Michael17 is definitely it!

Which part of my response were you unreceptive to? Moreover, there is spiritual warfare raging with man’s salvation at stake. As such many are called but few are chosen. So why are the unchosen created? To glorify the chosen. Which is not to say that you don’t have free choice, but that the choice that you make has been foreseen before the foundation of the earth. But his will is that none of the wicked should perish but that all men should receive salvation. Thus if one person in 10,000 is saved, then I have been an instrument of He, who authors eternal salvation. In regard to BOTs I am not one but I repurposed a CNN (Convoluted Neural Network )to categorize welding flaws as a part of a research project.

September 28, 2022 at 7:19 pm #44753Hi Michael
Are you saying there’s no ‘hell’ or post life torture?

I have a personal nit to pick with popular word usage, which is relatively new for me in this particular case, perhaps due to my age, I dunno. Only recently, strangely, when I hear “John needs to blah blah”, when John wouldn’t agree with the statement, I think no, the speaker needs John to do blah blah.
I was asked over IRC once if I were a bot, and I couldn’t tell if it was a sincere question… so I didn’t respond. Like being on the other side of a Turing test.
I originally started this reply with a negative response to what I perceived as mockery of another human, albeit milder than usual in this case. But I managed to flip my attitude into what I think was a more tangential, humorous take. If it sounds passive aggressive, mea culpa, but it’s relatively mild, too. It would have been harsher and foolish in a more naive, previous decade.
Mea culpa for going off topic too. It’s just that I remember few or no times when Michael has mocked any of us.
September 28, 2022 at 7:34 pm #44758Hi Popie, thanks for posting this.
I agree that Michael may have some unorthodox perspectives, but he does not insult or mock anyone and never has, in all the years we’ve known him.
I respect him for that.
September 28, 2022 at 7:56 pm #44765Hi Michael Are you saying there’s no ‘hell’ or post life torture?
Yes, there is no eternal suffering for those of flesh and blood but a second death after judgement day.

Oops!, I meant Convolutional…
September 28, 2022 at 9:19 pm #44768I concur in re Michael. No shots, no intimations, just respectful.
There is a natural antipathy between fervent believers and atheists. Each side tends towards incredulity as to the stupidity of the former and the blindness of the latter.

Sure, I agree he seems like a nice guy. Big deal. Heck I’d bet the Heaven’s Gate people were nice as well. However, the net effect is to cheapen life on this planet with this nonsense. He comes on here calling the Russian murder-pope blasphemous and fails to see it is just yet one more example of his beloved poison fairy tale in action. It is a cult of death, genocide, and persecution.
