ParticipantThere over a hundred of them? Oh shit…run for it.
There’s something to be said for the placebo effect. Isn’t it about a 50/50 shot?

Simon PayntonParticipant“Like who?”
– Steve Taylor, Eckhart Tolle.
Steve Taylor takes a methodical, conceptual approach, which is suitable for his subject of transpersonal psychology. He is a Professor of Psychology at Manchester University.
Eckhart Tolle takes a kind of poetic, scattergun approach. I personally feel that his quality control is not all it could be, in that he can seem to dribble on a bit sometimes. But at his best, which is often, he really works well to illustrate some conceptual point(s) or other.
I find that the two complement each other well. There are sure to be other “genuine” people there too, but I just don’t know them.

PopeBeanieModeratorIt could be a fun campaign, for a change? It’d also be more of a no-brainer wrt the lefty version of a populist movement. Of course, I’m also afraid of another president without political experience… is she bipartisan in any respect? But I’m also afraid of dems not picking a winner against Donny (Shutup-Donny!). Remember, California’s likely to be the powerful party nominee influence, moving primaries up to March. I mean, they’re just as likely to pick an older oldster like Bernie or their Gov. Brown. I’d vote for them, but age would hurt their chances.
(Oh crap, am I thinking about the next campaign already? I must hate myself?)

cecilia fxParticipantI’m not Oprah’s biggest fan, but I CAN say she really IS a self-made person. She really did earn every cent she has. Something I can never say about The Dotard. She knows what it’s like to be poor, so right there has a better understanding than mr pussy-grabber.
Does she have what it takes to be President? Well, probably not. Saying she’s better than Dotard really isn’t saying much because my snot would make a better politician than Dotard.
I think what Americans CONSTANTLY forget is that if we want to make a change for the better we have to vote in EVERY single election – local and federal. And we must vote only for decent human beings, not for parties. Power comes from the bottom up, NOT the other way around.
To make America great we need to change Congress. Last Nov elections were a good start. We got in a few good people – people who care about ISSUES, not propaganda.
