    In ChatGPT v3.5

I just started with a random statement of fact about myself:

    i like green

    Then this followed:

That’s great! Green is a popular color for many people and is often associated with nature, growth, harmony, and freshness. It’s also a versatile color that comes in many different shades, from bright lime green to deep forest green. Do you have a particular shade of green that you like the most?

    Me: yes

Great! Would you like to share what shade of green is your favorite? I’d love to hear about it.

Me: the eye color hazel, and emerald green.

Those are both lovely shades of green! Hazel is a unique color that contains a blend of green, brown, and sometimes gold or yellow tones, while emerald green is a deep and vibrant shade of green that resembles the color of an emerald gemstone. Both colors are beautiful and can be used in a variety of settings, such as clothing, home decor, and even in graphic design. Do you have a favorite way to incorporate these colors into your life?

Me: yes, i just look in the mirror at my eyes

Ah, I see! Your eyes must be beautiful with those shades of green in them. It’s always nice to appreciate the natural beauty we have in ourselves. Keep enjoying your favorite colors in your own unique way!

    Next test, sense of humor.

    Me:

a string walked into a bar, sat down, and ordered a drink.

the bartender said “sorry, we don’t serve drinks to strings here. you have to leave.”

so the string walked out, mussed up his hair, walked back in, sat down, and ordered a drink.

the bartender said “hey, aren’t you the same string that i told to leave just a few minutes ago?”

the string said “NO, i’m a frayed knot!”

    ChatGPT:

Haha, that’s a funny play on words! “Frayed knot” sounds like “afraid not,” which is a clever way for the string to say that it’s not going to leave without getting a drink. It’s a good example of a pun, which is a form of wordplay that uses different meanings or similar-sounding words to create humor. Thanks for sharing this joke with me!

Lastly, Me: With a southern accent, can you describe how to set up an alcohol distiller?

    ChatGPT:

Well, howdy y’all! If y’all are fixin’ to set up an alcohol distiller, I reckon I can help y’all out with that. Now, I’m no moonshiner myself, but I know a thing or two about how it’s done. Here’s what y’all need to do:

    1. First off, y’all need to get yourself a still. This is the contraption that’s used to distill the alcohol. You can buy one online or at a homebrewing store, or if y’all are handy with tools, you can build one yourself.
    2. Next, y’all need to gather your ingredients. For most types of alcohol, you’ll need some kind of fermentable sugar, such as corn, barley, or fruit. You’ll also need yeast, which is what ferments the sugar and produces alcohol.
    3. Once you’ve got your ingredients, you’ll need to mix them together and let them ferment for a few days to a week. This will turn the sugar into alcohol.
    4. After the fermentation is complete, it’s time to distill the alcohol. This is where the still comes in. You’ll need to heat up the fermented mixture in the still and collect the alcohol vapors that are produced. The vapors will condense back into a liquid form and you’ll be left with your finished product.
    5. Finally, y’all need to age your alcohol, if you want. Many types of alcohol, such as whiskey and rum, are aged in barrels to give them their unique flavor and color.

Now, I should warn y’all that making your own alcohol can be dangerous if you don’t know what you’re doing. There are risks of explosions and fires, as well as the risk of producing alcohol that’s not safe to drink. So, be sure to do your research and follow all safety precautions before y’all start distilling.

I’m so impressed now, I’ll probably pay the $20/mth for the upgrade. Wow, I’ve been so far behind the curve, for months, on this tech.

Here’s another example query. Any of y’all can tell me if you already know how useful ChatGPT is compared to Google. Note in the following query, it gives me two more years than I asked for, I’m sure because I mentioned Kit Kat, and it came back in less than 10 seconds. (I needed help deciding which of two cell phones to upgrade based on their compatibilities with specific, current apps.)

    Q:
please list all android versions commonly shipped on phones in the past eight years, including the english product names (e.g. kit kat) that were given to them.

    A:
Sure, here’s a list of the Android versions commonly shipped on phones in the past eight years, along with their corresponding English product names:

Android 4.4 KitKat (released in 2013)
Android 5.0 Lollipop (released in 2014)
Android 6.0 Marshmallow (released in 2015)
Android 7.0 Nougat (released in 2016)
Android 8.0 Oreo (released in 2017)
Android 9.0 Pie (released in 2018)
    Android 10 (released in 2019)
    Android 11 (released in 2020)

Please note that this list may not be exhaustive and there may be other Android versions that were released during this time period, but these are the most commonly shipped versions on phones in the past eight years.

Something else I need to take care of today:

    Q:
list the most common, standard toilet seat and lid sizes and styles

    A:
Toilet seat and lid sizes and styles can vary based on the specific brand and model of the toilet, but here are some of the most common and standard sizes and styles:

    1. Round: A round toilet seat and lid is typically 16.5 inches long and 14.5 inches wide. This is the most common size for residential toilets and is often used in smaller bathrooms.
    2. Elongated: An elongated toilet seat and lid is typically 18.5 inches long and 14.5 inches wide. This style is slightly longer than a round seat and is often more comfortable for adults.
    3. Square: A square toilet seat and lid is typically 16.5 inches long and 16.5 inches wide. This style is less common than round and elongated styles and may be used in commercial or industrial settings.
    4. Open front: An open front toilet seat and lid is a style that has an opening at the front of the seat. This style is often used in public restrooms and is designed to make it easier to clean the toilet.
    5. Closed front: A closed front toilet seat and lid is a style that has a solid front and is typically used in residential settings. This style is often more comfortable and provides more privacy than an open front seat.
    6. Soft-close: A soft-close toilet seat and lid is a style that has hinges that slow down the closing of the lid and seat, preventing them from slamming shut. This style is often more durable and long-lasting than standard seats.
    7. Heated: A heated toilet seat and lid is a style that has built-in heating elements to warm the seat and lid for added comfort. This style is often used in colder climates or for individuals with certain medical conditions.

Again, please note that toilet seat and lid sizes and styles can vary, so it’s important to check the specifications of your specific toilet model before purchasing a replacement seat or lid.

(LOL, took a lot longer to post this here than it took to research it.)
