I read like half of that article and did so while sleep deprived. Don’t remember a goddamn thing i read but at times disagreed with it.

So here are some thoughts in re to terrorism. In terrorem.

So i don’t think there is a uniform or consensus definition of terrorism. And without defining terms as a starting point confusion and ambiguity may set in. Meh. Islamic terrorism is not the sole province of terrorism. Jews used it to deconolonize Brits. See that lefty tactic i used right there? Groups like Irgun worked on getting the Brits out of Dodge. Purely political motivation. Did not intend to kill innocents in the King David Hotel. Would you classify Brits and allies in general deliberately fire bombing Dresden as terrorism? We see Timonthy Mc vayya over they’re with acts of terror to send message to government…maybe….and obviously some right wing terror militias and hate groups get involved.

Even so Islamic terrorism is far and away the issue today. Most prevalent and it is just silly not to tie that terorrism to the religion of peace. Inextricably linked. Goals? No need to state em. It is intrinsic to the great anachronistic cult of the 7th century.

No we aint done jack in the box to extirpate or send em to their fate. Afghanistan where we withdrew they are dong their thang. It is not a big deal they just want to rule the world like the songs says. Tens of thousands of Islamic acts of terror. Infiltration into western society like a mutha. And i give no credit to counter terrorism for keeping America safe. I deduced long ago it was deliberate and intelligent to avoid more mass 9/11 like acts. They could forget their plans if they did that. Even all but the most extreme lefties would ultimately turn their religion aside and to the facts abide.

Win the war on terror? Silly premise. The ideology of Islamism is intact and the lefties are aiding and abetting the enemy. Globalize the idiocy. They are doing that.

Post stamp Israel can’t stop terrorism. USA can?

In a pig’s rectum. The horror and despicable acts of terror are limited only by imagination particularly for members of a death cult. If you deny that you are essentially giving credit to the forces aligned against them as god-like or they are stupid and incompetent terrorists.

Shoot up elementary schools simultaneously in every US state. Kidnap and rape too like the Palestinians did in Israel. How many parents would permit kids to go to school in wake of that hypothetical. Ignite a bomb at an iconic sporting event like the super bowl.

Only way to defeat Islamic terorism i can conjure is to defeat the underlying ideology. That can be done too. Militarily crush it. If everything is the will of Allah then the message will ring loud and clear if you crush its forces. Germany and Japan were crushed in their ideological war and they altered their zeitgeist. Even the nakba was a wtf happened? Nothing to do with displaced Arabs or dead Arabs except tangentially.

In addition to giving it no quarter stop allying with Islamists! Don’t allow Muslims political cache in USA or any other western nation. Not unless they are cultural Muslims only. Don’t accept bribes from Qutar. Throw the academic Quislings the fuck out. Goddamn fucking traitors to a nation, to a way of life, to a flawed but superior experiment in democracy. And defeat in a war of ideas leftyism. Foster the would be reformers of Islam. Religion can be spun as well as any other lies. I have listened to Muslims who want to do exactly that.

Glad to see that I am not the only one to acknowledge that The War on Terror is not over. Also glad you acknowledge that inhuman ideas such as those of Islam are the root of terrorism. I just wish the influencer set would put down the toys and albums on their shelves and get back in the intellectual fight.

The definition of terrorism versus war, however, is not hard. It only seems unclear because both terrorism and war can happen side-by-side in a conflict.

Legitimate war is armed conflict between and against armed people and their munitions suppliers. In other words, war is between people who can strike back. Innocent, unarmed civilians are not legitimate targets of war and are to be avoided, though sadly innocent casualties do happen by accident.

Terrorism, however, makes innocent, unarmed civilians the primary and usually the only targets. Terrorism acknowledges no distinction between the innocent and the engaged in the realm of society and politics. To the terrorist, anyone who doesn’t explicitly side with the “higher” cause is fair game for destruction.

As Daniel Patrick Moynihan rightly observed (I think this is the right quote): “The goal of Terrorism is Totalitarianism. Totalitarianism is Terrorism come to power.”

The problem with The King David Hotel Bombing was that the Irgun blurred the line between war and terror. Intentions don’t feed the chickens or bring the innocent dead back to life, which included Jews, Arabs, British, Armenians, a Russian, a Greek, and an Egyptian.

The Zionist Congress, The Jewish Agency and pro-Zionists such as Sir Winston Churchill all condemned the Bombing. The aftermath of the bombing also resulted in suppression civil liberties of Jews by the Brits, so it really backfired bad for the intended cause of the Irgun.

Instead of bombing the King David Hotel, the Irgun could have just diverted the British officials from the Hotel and then got the intel documents they wanted from the Secretariat’s office in the Hotel. Sneaky. but not deadly.

Also the bombing of Dresden worked against the Allies, Not only did it have no industrial utility to the Nazis, but to this day, Holocaust Deniers cite Dresden as morally equivalent to the Holocaust and overcount the casualties of Dresden.

Timothy McVeigh could’ve just as easily paralyzed the hated Jackbooted Feds with no loss of life by placing some full-color travel brochures and fidget spinners in their cubicles. Alas, MacVeigh was inspired by The Turner Diaries by William Pierce of the Neo-Nazi National Alliance, so MacVeigh wanted to be a Jackboot himself, just with a different uniform and after “The Day of the Rope.”

In fighting any good fight, one always has to make sure you’re fighting it good, and even get civilians on your side. Maybe ideally even direct memes to the other side to divert, degrade, and demoralize the enemy so they no longer want to fight. Trump has failed to do these things both abroad with Iran and at home with ICE and the fight against illegal immigration.

On with the Counter-Jihad…but let’s be careful out there.

War on drugs was misguided. War on terror is not. And again killing the terrorists is insufficient. Islam will continue to indoctrinate little ones into lives of terrorism. To see the acts of terror by Muslims as simply a reaction to western colonialism or imperialism is also misguided. Terrorism is a thing unto itself. A reason detra. Terrorist make their mission paramount. There is always a religious fervor and twisted goal that makes human life of innocents expendable.

I will sign onto your definition of war. If you want to say that fire bombing Dresden and Hamburg and other German cities not terrorism but instead war crimes that is okay too. When the Japanese were raping and chopping heads off in Nanking of noncombatants i guess you can call it war crimes as well. The purpose however is at least in part to terrorize the populace. And listen it worked. Those groups changed for the better. Correlation or cause and effect? I have already indicated my opinion. Just like the counter terrorism measures applied in the USA ya have to ask whether those have been difference makers.

There is certainly a parallel between Germany and Gaza. A relatively small group at the outset ends up ruling and being supported by the overwhelming majority. And i think it is instructive and probative how Gazans do not support HAMAS as they did after the initial terrorist rampage in Israel. West Bank Palestinians still do. Why? Cuz one side of the river relatively unscathed. Other side blitzkrieged albeit in a kinder gentler Jewish way.

Whatever holocaust deniers cite is irrelevant. They will spin history silly. Silly. They find a way. Like lefties who create fictions that are demonstrably false. Purpose is more or less same between those two groups.

Ultimately it is a war of ideas and beliefs and the lefties have to be ignominiously shit upon upside down. We need woke assholes to be fringe and sans real influence. We also need to avoid doing same thing as lefties and far right do in terms of condemining people. Attack relentlessly bad beliefs/ideas. Excuse the masess as universally stupid and easily led. Goes for all groups. Sure there are individuals in every group who rise above the offal. Does not change the calculus.

What I think worked was that we showed the Germans and Japanese that the Nazis and Hirahito were not Gods or God-blessed. That can be easily done without targeting civilians. Likewise with the civilians in the Islamic world. Perhaps reaching minds in advance while killing off terrorists who can’t be reached is the right formula

It has to be a bubble burster filled with excrement to believe so fervently in the German master race or in the living god Hirohito and then be crushed like an organ grinder monkey among killer chimps. I think that sentiment hits much harder when the counterpunch involves more than just Dear John letters. On other hand it can be done without targeting civilians. But humans be humans and get biblical on another’s ass.

Agreed that as a general proposition it is too late and too impenetrable the mind of a terrorist. Although some have deconverted. Accessing and influencing those in a sick culture aka Islamic culture requires first that we in the west deconvert too. And first. No way to find the political will to do so without first curing out own sickness.

Consider Gaza and the question of its future. Far more important (easy for me to say!) than the rebuilding is the education. If it is more UNWRA schools it is more of the same. Query the education of young Palestinians in Gaza if lefties are brought in to be educators. Yeah more ugliness. Right now education is primarily lefty. There is not any fundamental impediment to erasing the Jew hate that is endemic in the Islamic world. Same for the supremacy of Islam and the duty of individual Muslims to Da’wah. Just listened to a gay female doctor being questioned by Medhi Hassan and she is critical of Islam and wants to see reform. Christianity was just as disgusting and all consuming and hunting for power and influence. And yet it was reformed.
