The House of Representatives can legally continue to spend taxpayer dollars discriminating against atheists because it has a tradition of religious privilege in doing so. I see a man riding a pale horse coming to rescue pious and persecuted Christians and another one on the back of a toad saving them from those awful parents of atheists. Even when it is subtle, it is still discrimination.  If only there was some sort of foundation for Moral Law that could help people like Roy Moore in their hour of need.

Kim Davis takes her religious fight against basic human rights to Romania in the hope of preventing some of their citizens from being treated equally before the law.

Trump’s marriage to the religious right reeks of hypocrisy on both sides as Christianity in America is more politically polarized than ever. If only Churches could get involved in politics and have their say.

Countries with an official religion are more likely to restrict other religions.

The nun just laughed when asked about the pervert priest.

Tom Cruise is not wanted in Ireland. “Don’t you dare audit my Engrams” read one sign. Last night some Christians told me they had crazy beliefs. I said so do Scientologists, which made them quick to anger. Yes, whatever, you guys are not deluded.

    Jesus now wears skinny jeans.

This weeks’ Woo: It is time to repeal laws that allow quackery and pseudoscience in healthcare.

Climate Change: Would you support a Carbon Tax. It could help to save the penguins.

On playing god with genetics and CRISPR over 3.5 billion years after the first nucleotides were formed on Earth. Don’t allow the hype about genetics become the next public enemy.  After all, the mind exists only within our empires of dirt.

Africa and the latest Christian war on women’s rights and birth control.

Some science for children to do at home. Would you want them to take an IQ test?

    On the origins of cooperation.

Transferring guilt makes a mockery of justice.

    Some photographs taken last week.

While you are waiting for the kettle to boil…..

Coffee Break Video:  Start your day with a little deductive reasoning. Which countries have the most atheists? Set aside 40 minutes and watch this very good video on “The theft of our Values”.

I like to kid myself and think perhaps all of this extreme magical madness is fueled by the death throes of religion.

@Robert..to some extend it is.  There will be arise in the number of indoctrinated children as the birth rates in religious countries are up but I think in more affluent and democratic countries the political power the church holds is fading. The next election in the U.S.A. will tell us much. The younger generation (under 30’s) are mostly non-religious as they have information that the religious no longer control. I don’t know anyone under 21 that is a believer. Most are happy to say that they are atheists. I recently had a 12 year old tell me that her parents embarrassed her with “all their religious rants”……even though she said something like “OMG my dad is just sooooo Catholic!!” and thought it was great that “someone as old as you (me) was an atheist too”.  Emm, thanks, I think 🙂
