jakelafortParticipantYep Enco.
You corrected my rememory of the sinnah.
If you wanna learn something this lady has some fresh viewpoints that make sense to me.

Reg the Fronkey FarmerModeratorI think a bucket is a more appropriate coffin for Bakker than a matchbox.

TheEncogitationerParticipantHere’s another one from 1983, Martin Briley “Just Put Your Hands on the Screen” that could be a parody of either Peter Popoff or Benny Hinn:

A bucket would be good for Jim Bakker, especially after the flock of sheeple wake up to the fact that they can easily preserve their own food and probably more to their own tastes and dietary needs.
They could buy a dehydrator or an air fryer with a dehydrator mode and a Seal-A-Meal™ sealer with bags. These things come with all the instructions for dehydrating and vacuum-sealing food.
Or even buy a set of Ball™ or Mason™ Jars and lids, a big pot, a thermometer, and a jar gripper. The box for the jars has all the instructions for canning different fruits and vegetables.
It’s fairly easy to preserve foods once you know how. Food preservers, a garden space, and a cool, dry place like a basement or a “panic room” and you’re set for years.
As for Bibles or any other books, you could look for those with paper treated to resist silverfish and fading. There are also homemade preventatives on life hack sites. Also, keep them in a water-sealed cabinet off the floor to resist flooding damage or plumbing leaks.
In other words, life can better when you think and do for yourself.

TheEncogitationerParticipantFellow Unbelievers:
Here WBT 1110 AM, the Charlotte Conservative talk radio station, uses the morning news program to remember the “complicated” legacy of Jim Bakker and PTL. (To avoid beginning falderal, start listening at about 29:00.)
Good Morning BT | Jim Bakker Dead at 86 | The Complicated Legacy of PTL
https://wbt.com/1651041/good-morning-bt-jim-bakker-dead-at-86-the-complicated-legacy-of-ptl/qIt was funny to hear “Chuck” Boozer say that Jim Bakker was goaded to spend so lavishly by the PTL people around him. So much for Christian belief in moral agency and responsibility.
And Beth Troutman recounted the windowed cave area under the Heritage USA pool where boys would watch the girls jump in and wait for wardrobe malfunctions. No word about a disposal for offending right eyes.🫣
Beth said that the worse thing about the fall of Jim Bakker and PTL was that it destroyed her capacity to trust institutions and authority and that it drove some people to never attend church again. *Sniff!*Sniff!* 😢😉
The old PTL security head sent his vicarious apology for PTL breaking the trust of the faithful! No thanks, Paul Blart Mall Cop, we’re good! The world went on without PTL!
They also recounted and played some of WAYS 61 AM’s hilarious parody of PTL by DJ’s Robert Murphy and Larry Sprinkle called “The Pass The Loot Club”.
😁😆😅😂🤣(Larry Sprinkle was also famous for playing the Ty-D-Bowl™ Man on TV, fitting since the Charlotte, NC area needed Ty-D-Bowl™ after PTL and still needs it with it’s many other scandals.)
I remember well listening to “The Pass The Loot Club” and also all of the Holy-Roller’s outrage at the “blasphemous” parody. I was a young believer at the time but still laughed at it because I knew deep down that the Bakkers and PTL were screwy.
My Aunt gave me an album the Bakkers made for kids called Oops! There Comes A Smile. I did an early form of what later was called scratching on the turntable with the album and listened on headphones.💽😎
Tammy Faye’s assistant called and said that while Jim Bakker was in prison, Tammy Faye made evangelical overtures to Gay men and was shunned by family and fellow Christians for it!
And Gay men embraced her back, gave her money, and made her a Gay Icon, runny mascara and all!🤡🏳️🌈…All in the days where Christians still upheld Sodomy and Crimes Against Nature laws!
These obviously Masochistic Gay men must have moved on later to found Queers For Palestine.
It’s so telling about The Bible Belt that Christian Grifters and their vacation paradises are viewed as “complicated.”. And they actually still complain about Moral Relativism.🙄

So Jews am who they am and that’s all what they am? Ak-yuk-yuk-yuk! Well blows me down!
“A joinable tribe with a common history, homeland, and culture.” I can dig it.
So does this mean they made Yahweh in their own image? They must have had a bad hair day when they made Yahweh. But Jews are not the only people who did so, so as bad as Yahweh can be, Jews shouldn’t be picked on for Yahweh’s doings.
Jews are a separate folk, but they are also folks that are a part of all other folks.
How another tribe, religion, nation, or empire treats them is a good indicator of how that tribe, religion, nation, or empire treats themselves and folks in general.
As long as we all can share the definition of “Israel” and “struggle with Yahweh and man at their worst and win” together, Jews and Israel are just alright with me.
Now, I’ll have to watch the rest of the video.
I just hope Sam Harris got over his unhealthy obsession with the Bidens. They ain’t worth it.

jakelafortParticipantEnco,
The joinable tribe take shows how ridiculous it is when a definition is necessary to clarify after the shitstorm of conflation and ignominy that no other people endure.
Yea mythology origin stories have commonality in how inward looking they are. Jews are no different and their YawYaw, woops (not to be confused with Yaw Yaw Sinwa) was not initially as i understand it conceived as a singular god. One of many but a jealous one. Just a jealous one. Crediting Jews with being originators of monotheism may or may not be true. Fuck if it is an advance in thinking. Everything about religion is garbage. Garbage in. Garbage out. And for those who justify religion through its bonding effect…if it is the sine qua non of an ancient people assimilating…would have been so much better.
Canary in coal mine? Health of a culture barometer? Sadly, Yes. Ridiculous but yes.
And here are a few quotes or near quotes that stuck with me.
“Jews are destroying what you value most.”
“Antisemitism is always seen as a form of social justice.”
“A lie about the way the world works…”
The two of them have a few heated points of disagreement. If ya watch the rest lemme know anything that stands out to you. Maybe i will get her book..

Great and thoughtful video! Antisemitism is truly a perverse parsimony for those unhinged to reality, where the explanandum has little to nothing to do with the explanans. Which is why parsimony is only one element of rational explanation.

So I’ve read and heard, the ancient Hebrews had both Yahweh figurines and Goddess figurines. They had Supernatural G.I. Joe and Barbie as play-purties. This also shows that the ban on graven images obviously came separately from other Commandments.
Crediting Jews with being originators of monotheism may or may not be true.
The Egyptians under Pharoah Akhenaten had an official religion centered solely on the single God Aten. This broke with previous Polytheism and was dropped after Akhenaten died in 1336 or 1334 B.C.E.
Also the Zoroatrians of the 600s B.C.E. worshipped the single God Ahura Mazda, symbolized by a Eternal Flame (not a Seventies automobile.) This also evolved out of previous Polytheism.
The Jews could have got the idea of Polytheism from either one or both, since the Holy Land and the Diaspora had interactions with both.
Fuck if it is an advance in thinking. Everything about religion is garbage. Garbage in. Garbage out. And for those who justify religion through its bonding effect…if it is the sine qua non of an ancient people assimilating…would have been so much better.
Most likely, Monotheism was a Supernatural form of a corporate merger done for simplicity, only it wasn’t efficient, since it didn’t really produce anything.
And rather that shedding people, religious god mergers changing Polytheism into Monotheism demanded more adherants for the new single God, especially when it morphed into Christianity and Islam.
I say commerce and/or sex would have been (and still are) better ways to assimilate people together.

jakelafortParticipantYo Enco,
You popped my explanadum/explanans cherry. How did i never encounter this for 63 miserable years? What else is lurking in the shadows?
Sudden Sam used the word henotheism to describe the beliefs of the ancient Hebrews. Waht evah. Garbage in. Garbage out. And a whole lot of copy catting among cultures as bad ideas or rather beliefs were bandied about like a Rugers sex doll who never consented. I am guessing the capability of exerting control/power had some involvement in the genesis of monotheism.

“Jews are destroying what you value most.”
Some Jews at their best can destroy things that shouldn’t exist, like ignorance, disease, poverty, and tyranny.
Some Jews at their worst destroy things that should prevail like enlightenment, health, prosperity, and freedom.
But either way, Jewishness has nothing to do with it.
“Antisemitism is always seen as a form of social justice.”
Unless the modifier is something like “True” or “Simple”, modifiers connected to “Justice” aren’t Justice.
“A lie about the way the world works…”
Very true. No technical textbook or computer tutorial or product instruction manual I’ve ever read evoked The Protocols of the Elders of Zion.
The two of them have a few heated points of disagreement. If ya watch the rest lemme know anything that stands out to you. Maybe i will get her book.
I didn’t detect any heated disagreement, just lots of light from different directions.

My explanandum/explanans cherry (metaphorically speaking) was busted 40 years ago on the (metaphorical) shoulders of giants, namely Introduction to Logic byIrving Copi and Logic and Philosophy by Howard Kahane, as well as select articles from others.
I hope is was as good for you as it wá for me!😎

If a sex doll had a Ruger, consent would be the only option for initiators of a gangbang. 🔫 Or did you mean Rutgers?
October 10, 2026 at 10:58 pm #61864
jakelafortParticipantYes Enco.
Rutgers. This is my gun, this if for fun on the brain? Rutgers it is. Can’t refer to the misspelling as a typo since it is a missing character. Failure of compression omission.
Never formally studied logic. Had Spock though as a pater. Did read Getting to Yes by Fisher and Ury apropos of nada. Hopefully none of the rapists at Rutgers are Zionists.

As manic as I can be about correcting my spelling, errors can still be fun. The Rugers/Rutgers confusion was too good to resist.

You never studied logic as an Attorney? That is surprising.
Well, Copi’s book was not a difficult Cope, and Howard Kahane’s middle name wasn’t Meir, So reading them as part of Introduction to Logic 101 was a delight as was applying Logic to debates on issues and scientific hypotheses.
I was better at Informal Logic but I still remember some Formal Logic.
As a hopeful note for rational culture, since I studied Logic, scholars of Logic have discovered and elucidated other Logical Fallacies including The Divine Fallacy, which attributes extraordinary events to Supernatural Beings, Aliens, or paranormal forces.
Basically it’s a version of The Incredulity Fallacy used frequently by Religionists of every creed and denomination, as well as George Noory, Alex Jones, David Icke, and Tucker Carlson (Taquiyah Qatarlson.)
Logic is a very helpful foundation discipline to learn and use in independent thinking.
Hopefully none of the rapists at Rutgers are Zionists.
Yet another serious apology Ivy League Academia owes to everyday people, both women and men. The Ivory Tower has nothing to say from on high to the rest of us plebes about either Women’s Rights or Male Patriarchy.
