PopeBeanieModeratorI still get two-week long earworms after each dose of The Warning.

UnseenParticipantThey seem to be dumping most or all of the remaining performance from the Oct 2022 concert. Here is the song Error:

PopeBeanieModeratorI like these acoustic gems from (I think) December 2019.
Watch how long Pau has to stand on only her left leg. 🙂

UnseenParticipantThey seem unable to do anything badly. Even though these are earlier songs from the Queen of the Murder Scene album and not up to the level of their more recent songs from the Error tour (is there an album yet?), they are all quite enjoyable. I do like electric rock more than “unplugged” rock. I think of rock as an electric guitar medium.

PopeBeanieModeratorI still love the tone and the budding artistry on these performances, by whatever genre one wants to call it. 😉
And I get to hear Ale sing more than usual.

UnseenParticipantThree Days Grace has a great song in Painkiller. It’s even better when Dany comes out and takes over the stage.

PopeBeanieModeratorFrom around March 2017, when they were 17, 15, and 12-1/2!
6-1/4 minutes, or 5 minutes if you want to skip right to the music at 1:13.-

UnseenParticipantThey have benefitted all along from their fact that their Dad is in the business because he owned a recording studio and presumably knew talented people in the business, so five years ago they were already getting professional videos done for them. I’m guessing he either paid for the work out of his own pocket or called in some favors (or committed to doing favors LOL).

UnseenParticipantI saw this analysis of the song More and now understand that it’s about a relationship I wasn’t thinking about. The relationship between an addict and their favored substance. Explains the title, doesn’t it?

UnseenParticipantThey continue to release songs from their October 2022 concert at Teatro Metropolitan one-by-one. Drip, drip, drip. Here is Kool Aid Kids, the lastest one to drop:

UnseenParticipantYet another drop from their Mexico City concert of October 2022. I really love this song, and the video, well, couldn’t be better, could it?
August 30, 2023 at 12:10 am #49964
PopeBeanieModeratorI just watched their whole Teatro concert. (Unseen please tell me if you already dropped this link into the thread.)

UnseenParticipantI did before I realized you had done, so I just now deleted the vid. Instead, some info and comment:
The full 90+ minute concert at Teatro Metropolitan from which all of their Error album live concert video releases have been taken. I somehow thought it was from last October (2022) but it’s from August. It contains all of those songs plus some earlier material from their Queen of the Murder Scene album and a few others from even earlier in their career. This was a long concert with an intermission during which they changed their clothing from black to white. The song Breathe plays during the Intermission. It is Pau, off the drums, singing to a piano, but she isn’t visible at all so I suspect it’s a recording giving them all a brief rest and time to change wardrobe.
There is a little extra material in the form of Dany’s patter between songs (in Spanish, of course, because of the Mexican audience) along with some pre- and post-concert goodies.

UnseenParticipantI have started thinking of The Warning as the greatest guitar rock band to come along since the heyday of the classic guitar bands in the late 60’s and early 70’s. I was in college then and saw The Beatles and Stones, Cream, The Who, and Jimi Hendrix live. These girls put out a bigger, beefier sound when they are rocking, write songs comparable with the best of The Beatles, and are entertaining.
They put on a better show than any of those bands..

UnseenParticipantSince The Warning has dumped the full Teatro Metropolitan concert, that means that unless they have more current (new) material waiting in the wings, we’re about to go through a drought of TW material.
They have started to get an unbelievable amount of reactions and/or reviews on Youtube. It used to be one every few days, then every other day or so, then maybe three or four a day, and it’s become around a dozen a day or so now. They’ve become a real Youtube “thing.”
I’m hoping for more new material. “More” may have been the first of a new set of songs from a new album. I know they’ve been working on new material since the got a recording deal.
Fingers crossed.
