Atheism and Spirituality 6 years, 11 months agoI feel like there is a way to find spirituality THROUGH the beauty of science. I guess I’m just looking for that pathway. And I know it may be a ‘boo’d” topic among atheists, but I agree with Ivy…it IS innate.

It comes along with too much baggage, including highly religious rituals, some fairly dangerous forms of spirituality like hyper-fasting and mental manipulation (not always so safe) and the practice of alternative medicine (which can even be deadly). We differ in opinions on this forum….me personally? I see there is a LOT of scientific evidence to support the idea that we ARE wired this way. It IS innate….si me personally?
