Podcasts, RSS Resources, and Playlists
For newbies, contributors, or anyone with questions. Help us rate and curate lists of podcasts and other RSS resources outside of AZ, e.g. fun and interesting blogs, podcasts, and credible news media sources.
Contributions are editable by any group admin, movable to a category or merged with another topic, and/or #tagged… all to make it easier for everyone to find (or search for in google).
If you edit a post to make a minor correction or update, please uncheck “Keep a log of this edit:” before you re-submit the post.

Another interesting programme, about the children of Catholic priests, what life is like for them, and how the Church deals with it.

As a contrast to “woke”, here’s a very good programme on BBC World Service featuring two feminist academics talking about “toxic masculinity” etc.

RSS Readers (including Alexa, Siri, Google Assistant)
Just for starters… I’m happy with QuiteRSS on Windows for now. I can see what’s new in my AZ groups, news on other websites, blogs, and even some podcasts (although a podcast app is recommended if you’re serious).
Note, meanwhile, that on the download page, on the right side, there is a…[Read more]

Patience, these may take time to describe, rate, and accumulate! I’ll eventually suggest our preferred formats, for various types of media.

RSS links should work in podcast players & newsreaders
(It doesn’t hurt to click on an RSS link while you’re in your browser, but it might look like gibberish. I use the Shoyu extension in Chrome to convert the gibberish into a readable web page, then decide if I want to copy/paste the RSS link into my podcast player or RSS newsreader.)

PopeBeanie started the topic Welcome, and please add your personal suggestions here! in the forum Podcasts, RSS Resources, and Playlists 5 years, 11 months ago
I’ll start off with three sticky topics:
1) Podcasts
2) RSS (e.g. for blogs and news sources)
3) Nothing here yet:
Playlists (e.g. for music, videos, other media)4) Apps (e.g. for windows, mac, mobile)
Please feel free in this topic to suggest atheist-related podcasts, blogs, and playlist URLs. You may also suggest up to a few links to your…[Read more]
