The average American Jew is far safer than the average Israeli Jew. You danced around that fact. And not all that deftly to boot.
If Jews are not safe in Ivy League Academia in America, the most educated and intellectual in society, that says something very telling about how much safety there is among the hoi-polloi. That’s no dance.

I think the Muslim world feels antagonized in a way the Christian world doesn’t. All the terrorism, the highjackings and suicide attacks began after the redrawing of Middle Eastern boundaries by a couple Western diplomats who had no business doing so.
Of course, I can’t provide a sound proof of my position with facts which are lost in the fog of history, but I do believe my view makes more sense.
My “guess” is based on what we know was there before Western Colonialism, and while we don’t know everything about history, we have places, artifacts, and corroboratable texts that tell a lot. History is not a “fog,” but is as knowable as anything else in the Natural Universe and the more we dig, the more we learn.
And this is not to defend Western Colonialism. Colonialism was a drag on the resources and people of the West in the same ways that Jihad is a drag upon the resources and people of the Islamic world. Then as now, trade is the way to go.
The video Reg posted just above packs a great deal of Islamic history in an Hour and 24 minutes. Islam’s march for global conquest began long before Westerners stomped the terra and imposed their cartography on the Middle East.
