Trump is already using this as an excuse to go all in on his plan to militarize “blue” cities. It also is an opportunity to distract from his Epstein woes and his comments claiming that beating your wife or children shouldn’t be included in violent crime statistics.

Zero gun violence is not the goal. Reducing the amount of gun violence is the goal. If one instituted an efficient and convenient public transportation system taking half the cars off the road, road deaths would go down somewhat proportionally.
