TheEncogitationerParticipantFellow Unbelievers:
Here again is why you can’t trust government to deal with Misinformation/Disinformation/Malinformation 🦁*GROWL!*
FCC chair threatens broadcasters over Iran war coverage
FCC Chair Brendan Carr said news broadcasters coverage of Iran war could impact their license renewal.
https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/politics/2026/03/14/fcc-iran-war-coverage/89154891007/Does Brandon Carr dress in drag as Mary Poppins and sing Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious like his predecessor Biden Information Czar Nina Janky-Witch? And would asking that get a broadcast station’s license pulled?
And how could media be more disloyal than the Commander-In-Chief kow-towing to Emperor Xi and the CCP?
I hardly think the troops, Sailors, Marines, and Airmen presently fighting in the Gulf had this in mind when they departed for their mission.

PopeBeanieModeratorAuthoritarianists say and do the damndest things. I want to hear a lot more from Rand Paul. I think there’s growing opportunity to bump Trump, and pull some GOP over. He could also put a big dent in their election control attempts.

TheEncogitationerParticipantReg and Fellow Unbelievers:
AI is unlocking new treatments for diseases once thought to be incurable
AI could do countless wonders for healhspan and lifespan, if only humans didn’t use it for stupid slop like this:
Shirtless RFK Jr. Beats Up A Twinkie In WWE-Themed AI Video
And if AI itself didn’t put out brazen errors that enable pre-existing numerological slop like this:
Debunking religion’s most scientifically illiterate and hilarious claim
And this came from an AI at of all places, The Weitzmann Institute! How do you say in Hebrew? !להדק (Tighten Up!)

TheEncogitationerParticipantReg:
The trouble with believing anything and nothing at the same time.
The problem with this article is that it treats science like a belief on a par with religion or even on a par with: “I believe I’ll have another drink.”
Science is not a belief. Science is the only game in town to understand and get around town when “town” is the Natural Universe.
Also, while Crypto isn’t trustworthy if it’s not backed by a precious metal, FDIC-insured Banks and the Federal Government are not trustworthy either if they are going to hit up the taxpayers for bailouts after giving out mortgages like candy and create real estate bubbles, as happened with Saving & Loans in 1987 and as happened with Banks and AIG in 2007 and 2008. If this hadn’t happened, life would look very different today.

UnseenParticipantHELLO! I asked a couple posts back and even private messaged Reg to ask and no answer so far.
What happened to the forums? Were they wiped out during an update? When will they be restored? When will we be able to post there again? Or will we?
