That is a thought provoking vid from Mr. Jiang.

Loved the specificity critical thinking vid. Such basic shit and it is the kind of thing that should start in high school and continue through higher education. Goddamn i would like to know whether the common man if sufficiently exposed to that stuff would be less subject to indoctrination. Is it really really that hard?

@Jakelafort – This video gives a very cogent explanation of where Iran is at. I don’t agree with all the implications but overall it is difficult to disagree with his lecture. (Note GCC = Gulf Cooperation Council or the 6 nations to the left of Iran)

    Fellow Unbelievers:

Professor Jiang is just the latest iteration of what The Amazing Criswell was in his time:

Remember, “the future is where you and I will spend the rest of our lives, whether we want to or not.” And “The events of the future will affect you in the future.” 😁

Rewind and catch the very beginning and the very end. Jiang is a game theorist, which only helps insofar as game theory has any application to war and world events.

Also at the very end, he posits ancient shop-worn conspiracy groups as having a hand in things, just stopping short of the J-Word.

This guy’s like the Bobby Fischer, Jordan Peterson, and Candace Owens of Foreign Policy wonkery. 😁

I think you are right Enco.

He asserts air power has never brought down…you need ground troops. Non sequitur there. It has not happened in a few instances therefore it won’t happen this time? There are so many unknowns and factors that distinguish this case from those it is impossible to say how this will play out.

I can envision a scenario in which no US boots on terra firma and yet a regime change plays out. There are ten plus million minorities in Islamic Republic and a great antipathy to having been abused by this cult regime some of whom have already expressed a willingness to attack. So were we to supply the weaponry, organization, intelligence and air support (apparently US and Israel have total control of the skies) then the IRGC and Iranian army might be overwhelmed. Further there is a legit chance that defections would be rampant.

And as you point out the they control everything but we don’t know who they are and yet he knows who they are and what they control? And then his conclusion about Israel is bribing because Miriam Adelson promised Trump money if… She aint even an Israeli! And if she were it does not suggest that Israel is behind it without evidence.

I still gotta listen to the vid Reg posted but first i’ll dope some more races.

    Fellow Unbelievers:

Joel Hodgson of Mystery Science Theatre 3000 had great fun parodying The Amazing Criswell here:

There was another skit on Microwave Faith Popcorn that I’ll try to find.

    Reg,

Factually i am not aware of any errors. Agree that implications are disputable. Guy needs a speech therapist desperately. He must be a little self conscious, okay?

    Reg and Jake:

The second video is accurate as far as it goes, but getting an Iranian victory from all that is something different.

The Mullahs are hurting Iran as well as their Arab, Turkyie-ish, and Cypriot neighbors on so many levels. If they close up the Strait of Hormuz, there’s no escape by sea, if Iran’s neighbors shut down airspace, there’s no escape by air and land is out of the question. And unless there’s another Hajj site besides Mecca for Shia, the Mullahs have knocked an entire pillar out from under the chopping block of Islam. The Mullahs have made themselves and all Shia into less than fully devout Muslims if not downright Apostates and they’re all pinned in a corner. The Islamic Ummah isn’t coming out of this the same. There could be Sunni-on-Shia genocide or vice versa depending on who fires first and strongest.

    Reg and Jake:

There also other unknowns–both known and unknown–that make all this unpredictable for everybody in this scenario.

Everyone’s focusing rightly on the refined Uranium the Mullahs had, but they could also use other radioactive Elements to make conventional-fired “dirty bombs” that would contaminate vast areas and cause widespread chaos.

Chemical and Biological weapons are easier to make than Nuclear weapons. What made these weapons off the table in other wars was that they could always come back on the user in the wind or water.

Notice how their use changed between wars.

World War I Junker Germany used poison gas against combatants in open battlefields.

In World War II, Nazi Germany only used poison gas in enclosed rooms against disarmed civilians.

With suicidal Jihadists wanting “Pie-In-The-Sky-In-The-Sweet-By-And-By”, it won’t matter if poisons and microbes blow back on them.

Stay safe out there, folks. This isn’t over or certain.

Once again, Trump goes TACO and half-asses around with the World’s worst rulers:

    https://youtu.be/5zdNtYHNdMw?si=blq77sYEphy9yJPb

I was also mistaken about Russia’s role in the conflict. While Putin didn’t send arms or troops, being tied up in Ukraine, he did give the Mullahs vital intelligence to target U.S. Forces, and China is sending money, spare parts, and missile components, to the incredulity and obliviousness of Trump and Pete Kegs-Breath:

Again, too many variables to predict the outcome of the war, especially when Trump is vacillating and willfully stupid.
