I enjoy pissing off religious bigots too.

I do too. However–defeating that amalgam of True Scottish Strawmen attacking To the Man from Mott to Bailey and back in an Equivocating Circle which was a Widening Gyre while riding at a Gish Gallop and pickling Red Herrings in a Pot Calling A Kettle Black Tu Quoque-style–does not require being…[Read more]

“Just because I might post an interesting article does not mean I agree with it. Which side would you like me to argue from?”

Potentially, any of it is entertaining. As for whether it is true or good, that is ad hoc and case-by-case. In some cases, some sources get it so consistently wrong, they are best used as cage lining for vir…[Read more]

And it was all the go in Sir Winston’s day, since he coined the phrase, just more hush-hush beck then…Which might explain why Laughing Boy Tucker Carlson thinks Sir Winston was the bad guy of World War II, since Ol’Schicklegruber wouldn’t allow “acts of sabotage against the Aryan people” like butt-stuff and sookie-sookie!

If women freely exercising political power threatens your preferred social order, is the problem women’s political power—or your social order? Well Doug, which is it?

A Theocracy under Paula White would be no better than under Doug Wilson, just as Sumaru would be no better than Fu-Manchu. If it’s any political order other than a Con…[Read more]

How shit unfolds nobody knows. A grim and dire outcome however it flows. Reminds me of negligence law in torts and one of the elements is of course causation. Duty, breach, causation and damages if memory serves/today i…

Beth Mole of Ars Technica got a second opinion of Bobby Brainworm’s views on masks, social distancing, and vaccines from both Google’s GeminiAI and ChatGPT. Both contradict him:

RFK Jr. thinks AI will free us from the “tyranny” of medical facts, expertise
AI is far from a perfect resource. But it seems to hallucinate les…[Read more]

PopeBeanie and Fellow Unbelievers:

Speaking of Bad Actors, Bobby Brainworm is now saying that AI is more reliable than the medical expertise of Doctors and that AIs can be trusted to give valid second medical opinions:

I say not until AI reaches Superintelligence and not until it absorbs all that is taught in…[Read more]

Fellow Unbelievers:

Yesterday, I encountered a man with an AI made T-Shirt that had a set of praying hands with the glow and radiance that you see in a lot of AI portrayals and the words around the hands said, and I quote:

“Only God Can Me Judge Me!”

Without intending an argument on theology, I simply pointed out to the man that the T-Shirt…[Read more]

I’d like to have met him too. Cosmos and The Demon-Haunted Worldwere both super works. But the AI did him no justice in that video by not translating and transcribing him accurately.

AI doesn’t do itself justice evidently, judging from AI actress Tilly Norwood’s interview with Piers Morgan, where she just randomly broke into Chinese…[Read more]

An interesting article pitting one flavor of Doomers vs. another Flavor of Doomers:

How the bad science of AI doomerism is good for big business
There is no clear path showing that today’s AI systems will lead to superintelligence, much less a basis for calculating the probability of d…[Read more]

Enco,

I don’t know if you remember but we saw a vid with the guy who worked for Reuters. And yea it gets copied over and over as though it were honest reporting instead of activists spinning and spreading their filthy ideology.

This is a pretty cool vid by Sagan except it is AI and i don’t even know if it is Sagan’s words.

Quoting him to lefties is like quoting Trump. If it is Trump reaffirms he is a very stable genius… not exactly an affirmation with lefties or anyone in their right mind for that matter.

No argument with that Jake.

Reg and Jake:

Let’s also remember there were two auxillary pilots on board and one stabilized the plane till it landed. They are heroes too.

Let’s hope this not only wakes up people to the fact that The War On Islamifascist Terror is still occuring, but wakes our culture up to the fact that experts are necessary, both every day and in times of crisis.

The BBC (yes!) has posted: Netanyahu says Flydubai attacker had ‘Islamist radical indoctrination’.
