I prefer the alien scenario. I honestly think humanity has absolutely no hope until we either fix our genetic code or some aliens do it for us (they are far less likely to screw up when they attempt to do so).

I personally would be extremely resistant to option 1 and willing to do option 2 (and I have no plans to have kids and HATE the heat and cold and love long showers and long cooked meals.

Davis, I think you have hit on the second most important topic for improving our species, even if we differ on methods. The only thing more important than encouraging acceptance is our ecosystem. Unfortunately I am embarrassed by my country on both counts. It does not feel good to be an American right now. Go Greta 😉
